Summary: It’s been two days since he reconnected with Dean via a Borax shower and a holy water facial and in that time Sam has come to acknowledge two things: number one, that despite the upheaval to his new life, he is utterly ecstatic to have Dean back and two, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t scared shitless by his big brother.
Sam needs to sleep, but he also needs to keep an eye on Dean.

One of the greatest complaints about season 7 was the handling of Dean's alcohol dependence- This story beautifully handles the theme of addiction and it's so flawless, it makes me wish this story were canon. Anyone who knows me knows that whenever I am asked to recommend fan fiction, this one will always find it's way into the list. No matter who I'm reccing to or what they're looking for! Hehe. The relationship between Dean and Sam is so beautiful, the dialogue/banter is perfect, and there's so much delicious angst.

When I read Mirrordance's stories I think, damn these fic are so well thought out and formed with a foreword and afterword and credits. Not to mention wonderful style. She really ought to be one of the official writers for those Supernatural books. Because those books would be really worth reading.

Reccer’s comments: This is the story that got me hooked to this author. All 3 hunts really tell the tale of how hunting life couldn't rest well with Sam but the real clincher was the third one. Not only was the case in and of it self perfectly paced and intriguing but the outcome really brought it all to a head. I really wish this could have been an episode.

Its everything a deathfic ought to be; sad, hopeful, full of comfort for the hurt, angsty and full of heartfelt realistic dialouge. You feel for all the Winchester men here, although Dean is primary.

Wake Up And Find Me - Dean gets a head injury. Sam takes him to the car, but he wakes up alone and decides Sam needs saving.
Angel Timing Sucks - As usual, Cass's timing sucks. Dean is furious. He takes it out on Sam.
How Do I Convince You I Love You? - This turned into a full schmoop Wincest first time amulet fix. Post Slash Fiction Dean is convinced Sam is gone. His heart is broken and it's up to Sam to convince him this time it's for keeps. R- non-graphic first time.
