Hello hello, just me again, with my August Guest Reccer post #2! As I'm sure you're all well aware, the Tags Challenge is just about coming to an end. Today I just wanted to share some of my personal favorites, be they fic, art, picspams, or vids. All of these pieces I felt made especially deft use of their given tag. And we all love tags. :D

Reccer’s comments: This is my favorite of this challenge, and it kills me that it's gotten so little attention. The prose is gorgeous, as is the tone of fear and disquiet that it creates. This isn't your cuddly spooning by any measure, but spooning it is.

Reccer’s comments: Detailed rendition of the hospital environment, drawn with immense technical skill but also an impeccable ability to create a pervasive atmosphere of solitude and darkness. Though outside of the doom and gloom, I think my favorite part of this picture is Dean's blanket--you look at it and you know what it feels like. :)

Summary: Dean gets into a car crash when a headache incapacitates him. As they learn more about his symptoms, Dean and Sam realize he's been living with a serious blood infection.
Reccer’s comments: Something that's always mesmerized me is a vidder's ability to reappropriate clips to make them into narratives so seamlessly separate from their source. This vid is the quintessential example of this, with effective use of voiceover, text, and, of course, all the clips.
