What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? Emotional hurt, hell-issues, PTSD, or classic physical hurt. Illness, sometimes, mostly to get away with reading shameless cuddle!fic. *coughs*
What other characters do you read h/c fic about, if any? Jack and Ianto (ok, fine, mostly Ianto) from Torchwood. I don't read in many fandoms; multi-fandom girl all the way when it comes to watching, but I'm picky with what I read fic for.

What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? (ie: emotional hurt, physical hurt, illness, etc.) All kinds. Not limited to a specific kind of pain. Emotional pain is more difficult for me, but I like all kinds.
What other characters do you read h/c fic about, if any? (On SPN, or otherwise.) I have read some Sam, John, but mostly Dean.
Anything else? I love Dean to pieces and don't like wank or negativity in regards to him. I enjoy thoughtful conversations with constructive criticism, but mostly I just love this show and these characters so much, I only want the love.

I had NO idea the feelings I was feeling when I was eleven and watching Star Wars for the first time, seeing Luke and his woobie-ness and Han's aftereffects from the carbonite, but I loved it. And I was SO delighted to (eventually) find out that there were others who liked it too!

I ate up the h/c-y and brotherly vibes going on in The Outsiders when I read it as a kid, and was drawn to it in shows as well, but didn’t discover the online community until much later, and then it took me awhile to ~embrace~ my love.

Lol, when I was, like, 14 and into The X-Files, there was a site called Mulder Torture. Does anyone else remember that? I kind of lived there.
What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? (ie: emotional hurt, physical hurt, illness, etc.) Feversss. <333 I love how they can crack open a character’s defenses in an organic way. Also, psychological issues/mental illness. With Dean, I’m especially drawn to his post-hell issues, PTSD, depression, and dissociation. o_0

What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? (ie: emotional hurt, physical hurt, illness, etc.) My absolute favorite current type of fic are hurt!Dean or sick!Dean with Sam in the comforting role.

What other characters do you read h/c fic about, if any? (On SPN, or otherwise.) It's mostly Supernatural, but I also like to read h/c gen stories involving hurt!Marty in Back to the Future, and hurt!Luke or hurt!Vader in Star Wars.

I was totally going to get it published and everything *nods*) that focused on this little reindeer who broke his leg and his friend had to look after him and comfort him and make sure he didn't freeze during a bad snow storm. I was writing h/c before I knew the internet existed :)
What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? Daddy Issues. Hell trauma is another obvious one. I have a thing for Character A saying/doing something to inadvertently hurt Character B and then having to work on making it up to them.

I got mad at "The Real Ghostbusters" because their Egon-gets-possessed episode wasn't as good as the one I'd imagined in my head. I'm a whumper from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back.
What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? (ie: emotional hurt, physical hurt, illness, etc.) Emotional, physical, psychological, bring it on. I'm not as good for the comfort end, I love it if the hurtee has to drag his own ass up and fight back (and sometimes get overwhelmed anyway, mmmmmmmmm). But I dig a good flaily comforter as much as any other.
What other characters do you read h/c fic about, if any? (On SPN, or otherwise.) Within fandoms, I'm really very monogamous. I have my character and others getting whumped does little for me. I . . . honestly can't count the number of times I've found myself going "Yes, yes, Sam's passed out, but what about Dean?" Talk to us about your thoughts on hurt/comfort. (How/when did you first discover your love for h/c, whatever.) I've enjoyed h/c fiction in all its forms. It's not the hurt itself, it's the challenges associated with the hurt and how it will be overcome (comfort). Well-written h/c is a satisfying voyeuristic trip exploring suffering through,and dealing with, the challenges of life. I mean, an ant's gotta eat, drink, feed the young 'uns - and any minute you can get stomped! My life is pretty dull and boring (not that I'm complaining), my h/c experiences are far from interesting (to anyone but me, as if I want to dwell upon my pain, anyway! I cry messy, like Sam, not beautiful, like Dean). Maybe h/c fiction can dredge up the deep meaning behind suffering. And if I'm going to be a voyeur, I'm going to watch Sam and Dean! Especially Dean, 'cause no one hurts as good as Dean (tipping my antennae to Jensen Ackles).

I first encountered h/c as a genre about a year ago when I found the Stargate fandom, and it was basically love at first sight. Before that I knew that I preferred it when my favourite characters were hurt on-screen, but I didn't encounter it in fandom much, didn't know to go looking for it, and generally didn't give it a lot of thought.

What’s your fave kind of h/c, if any? (ie: emotional hurt, physical hurt, illness, etc.) I have a huge thing for phobias, panic attacks, anxiety, and fear in general (I was basically like this: :DDDDDD all through Yellow Fever). Almost all of my favourite h/c types lead to that at some point. Of those that don't, I like disabilities like blindness/deafness/muteness and temporary crippledness, minor mental disabilities (nothing that would significantly alter the character), sometimes emotional pain. (And also, I'm all over anything that gives us protective!Sam).

What other characters do you read h/c fic about, if any? (On SPN, or otherwise.) I tend to be very single-minded in my h/c. I pick a character within the first season or so and then they're the only one I want to see hurt (With SG-1 it was Daniel, with House it was Wilson, with Sherlock, oddly enough, it was Watson). With SPN it's Dean. For about 6 episodes, though, I was sure it was going to be Sam. Then Dean's abandonment issues were all HELLO THERE, WE EXIST! and Sam really didn't have a chance after that.

I've always avoided the comfort part of h/c as best I can but lately I've been digging schmoopy comfort and CUDDLING, who am I?!
