That was my first online fandom; I'll always love it so.

X-Files was my first fandom dabble. I read loads, even wrote a bit, but I was elbow-deep in Marvel fanfic at the time, and I've always been a bit of a serial fandom monogamist.

I can only do one fandom at a time tooo.

XF and SPN are similar in certain ways, I think. I mean, beyond some of the same pp working on them both, they're both shows that revolve mostly around only two characters, and it's very them-against-the-world. Ohhh, I love that sort of dynamic.

They're very similar shows thematically, most definitely. One of my favorite things about the X-Files is one of the same things I've enjoyed about Supernatural: they're both shows that love to play, with format, with characters, with tropes -- and with the fandom (Chris Carter was the original shipper troll, oh yes he was).
