I'm so excited -and nervous- to be your monthly guest reccer for november! I still consider myself a newbie as an active member of the SPN fandom , although I've been a lurker for quite some time.
I've decided, since this is my first time as a reccer, to travel back in time and retrace all the wonderful hurt!sick!etc!/Dean stories that introduced me to SPN fanfiction. I'm sure a lot of things I'm going to rec are already well known by some of you but hey, maybe not, or maybe you'll enjoy going back to some of your favorite fics with me. ;)
My first rec for this month is the first story I ever read in SPN fanfiction. It's a wonderful, gripping story -and I realised now how lucky I have been to read this particular story first. If I have stumbled upon a bad written or less interesting story, I might have stop there and never try to read another fanfic again (and what a tragedy it would have been.)
This story was written in 2006, and can be read over at FF.net
