He's very stoic, yet clearly distressed...and in this position where he's got to be the one in charge, and strong in a way he's never had to be before in his life. He's so out of his depth and it's written in every line of his face. Nicely done.
In case this comment comes across as anything other than "This is made of WIN" let me just clarify that, yes, it is in fact made of win. ;)

You know how *much* I like kidfic, right? ;) This is the visual equivalent of kidfic. FANDOM WHAT ARE YOU MAKING ME DO. I was making up fanfic about single father Sam running into many demons who would make very mean comments that would go right over ickle Dean's head. Think Alastair in a granny vessel.

Their faces are KILLING ME. Dean's little chubby pink cheeks! <3 <3 <3 I've never seen such cuteness! (And is he wearing his giant shirt from when he was an adult???)
And Sam looks SO SAD AND WORRIED, like omgomg how do I do this??? But also like he's doing better than he thinks he is. His little forehead crinkle is perfection!
Also, I LOVE traditional art like this. What did you use, btw?
ANYway, this piece of art is everything I've ever wanted, basically.
