I was asked to do a rec post featuring Dean and his manpain yesterday at sawedoff_recs, and thought I’d share the ones that haven’t been recced here at this comm before (by me or by others) with you guys as well. You can check out aaaall of the recs here, btw.

This post is to announce/celebrate the fact that we’re all pretty and shiny now! lilhellsangel graciously made a header for the main comm page and a profile banner, as well as supplying me with various versions of each header/banner, and an entirely different header too. They’re all gorgeous and I’m going to be flipping between them, as I can’t quite decide on a fave! I really love the minimalist look of the one I'm using now, but the other one is soooo lovely too. It uses that cap of the x-ray showing the Enochian sigils on Dean's ribs, which I always thought was awesome looking.

lilhellsangel was an absolute joy to work with. She’s super-nice, and very talented. Her graphics journal is saltandfeathers if you want to check out her other work.

A challenge where one author offered up a line or two of an unfinished story, and another author picked it up and ran with it (or, in my case, crawled). The specific lines from the prompt that inspired me are:

Dean was silent and mussed and worn thin. When Dad demanded to know where the hell he'd been, he just shrugged. Couldn't say.

He was different after that.
