Author's note/summary: Written for hoodie_time's Dean-focused h/c comment-fic meme. Prompt: Dean is hit with a curse that keeps him from sleeping and he starts to suffer the symptoms of severe sleep-deprivation, ie: heightened emotions, hallucinations, confusion. But especially heightened emotions!

Reccer's notes: As I said in my original feedback to this - I really appreciated how the author wrote this, how it let us see an openly emotional Dean we don't usually get to see, but it wasn't overdone at all. It fit, and it was touching, and it was perfect. Really nice job.

Reccer's notes: I loved the episode “The End,” and this fic made me love it even more! This is an amazing and poignant imagining of how Dean and Castiel's future selves might relate to each other. Every well-placed mention of Sam just made my heart clench up.
