Summary: This is the end of Season 10, and Dean has gone dark side again. Time has come for Castiel to fulfill the promise made to him in 10x09, but Sam is there to prevent him from harming his brother.

Author's note: sanshal gave me an invaluable help with my first SPN fic :) Thank you a lot for the precious advice! If you see any mistakes, it's only my fault. I'm posting the fic here as I consider it fitting the topic. Yes, Dean's not the only one hurt, and there's no that much of a comfort (although both other characters do what they can to help).
