Summary: After Faith, a job has the boys looking for missing hikers in Wyoming. While Sam worries it’s connected to what happened to Dean ten years ago, Dean wonders if Sam would be better off back in the world of normal.

Reccer’s comments: I think most of our fandom know this one, but if you don't go, run read it. There is no word to describe the author's incredible work here. Hurt!Dean, Overprotective-yet-oblivious!Sam, a bunch of Sam's old college friends who don't like Dean at all, and a vulnerable!Dean who is still the BAMF that we know and love. A Must Read if I ever know one.

Summary: After the electrocution, Dean suffers some very painful permanent damage. Crappy circumstances leave the boys broke and desperate; Sam does what he’s gotta do to take care of his brother.
Reccer’s comments: Oh Dear God. This fic left me... breathless and seriously disturbed. It's a mix of horror, despair and love. Sam's desperation to save Dean and Dean's horrible, horrible symptoms... God, apart from "In Reverse" by Sodakey, I cannot imagine a better aftermath of the episode "Faith". One of the best Hurt!Dean I have ever read. it's also worth-shivering the way Sam loves Dean in this fic. The way he keep doing bad, bad things to save his brother. Superb work.

Oh, I've read 'In Reverse' numerous times and it is definitely a favorite. This "John girl" loves the John in this story, and loves the H/C for Dean, and a great brotherly love - all the things I love in a fic. It is a must read for me at least once a year.

I haven't read 'Heart to Heart' yet. I have it saved though, and will move it up to read soon. Looks good. I love fics that deal with the aftermath of "Faith" One of my favorite Dean episodes.

Two great recs. Faith is one of my favourite episodes so I'm always eager for fics around it. Question: in the comments there is talk of a potential sequel. Do you know if that ever came to be?
