[mod post] items of interest (upcoming events schedule + the intro of a new faq page)

1. After tallying up the results from our last poll post and mod discussions this is our schedule for the next few months:

Another mini-challenge will be going up this coming Sunday, the 11th of November. The theme will be sick!Dean and annartism has already made us some lovely art/a lovely banner for it. \o/

We’re going to be having a Wish List in early December (more details to come) and we wanted to fit something both fun and with a short turn-around in before then, hence the mini-challenge.

After the Wish List and in the new year we will be doing a (unthemed) Dean-centric h/c meme and our next big challenge, A Lyric/Quote challenge. We don’t know which one of those will be first, though!

2. I also recently put together a Fanwork Submission FAQ page. This is just for those people who are wondering if the fanworks they’d like to post here fit the theme of comm, which is something that many of us have considered, especially over the past couple of years. The FAQ answers some common questions and gives some examples and generally tries to clarify things a bit. I don’t know if it wholly succeeds; these are issues that really have to be looked at on a case-to-case basis and that the mods struggle with as much as the posters, but hopefully it will help!

I think there's been less of it lately too. It's weird because 'fever', for example, is actually one of, if not our most used tag here, but maybe there's been less of it lately? Or maybe I am just greedy, haha? Anyway. /wants
