Lonely Prompts Spotlight
Once a month a mod will be making a post highlighting 5 prompts from our various comment memes that have yet to be filled, in the hopes that someone/several people will pick them up. So, that’s what this is!
The only rule here is to please post your fills as comment-fanworks or link to them at your journal as a comment to the original prompt. You can definitely post them to the comm itself, (it’s very much encouraged, really) but please do the other as well, so that the prompter will know you've filled it and so that the mods can add it to the meme masterlist for all to see. ;) There are no deadlines or other rules.
You can use the .lonely prompts challenge tag when posting to the comm.
And if you're looking for more prompts, all comment memes are available for browsing. And I'm behind on this, but all lonely prompts that I've archived so far can be found here. Remember that every meme prompt is always open for grabs, lonely or not. \o/
Quote prompt; from Vera Brittain's Testament of Youth:
"Wounded men kept their personalities even after a serious operation, whereas those of the sick became so quickly impaired; the tiny, virulent microbe that attacked the body seemed to dominate the spirit as well. Why was personality so vulnerable, why did it succumb to such small, humiliating assailants?"

Gen. Dean is subjected to a series of 'tricks' (that escalate in danger) when he fails to give out 'treats'.

Sam/Dean. Dean eats too much pumpkin pie and gets a TUMMYACHE. Sam cuddles him and rubs his belly and oh, the schmoop.
- Originally prompted here.
Dean borrows a costume and sneaks out to go trick-or-treating with some of the kids from school. It's kind of fun for a while, hanging out with kids his own age. That is, up until some shit spell turns everyone into the costumes they're wearing. Including him. Did he mention that his Dad was on a hunt in town? Extra points if we get to see the psychological aftermath of being hunted by your own father.

Because I’m obsessed with this type of future-fic, but haven’t seen one QUITE like this. In a future, curtain-fic-ish kind of setting, things are good, then Dean begins to gradually manifest paranoid thoughts (seeing hunts where they aren’t any, suspecting people of possession/a feeling of being watched, etc.) It turns out to be a form of psychotic depression. Gen or Sam/Dean.

Date: 2012-10-31 07:20 pm (UTC)I'm glad you got through the hurricane safely too. <3 We're still getting it here right now, but it's calmed down a lot/doesn't appear to be a big deal. The news reports for elsewhere look so bad, though.
