Lonely Prompts Spotlight

Each month or so a mod will be making a post highlighting 5 prompts from our various comment memes that have yet to be filled, in the hopes that someone/several people will pick them up. So, that’s what this is!

The only rule here is to please post your fills as comment-fanworks or link to them at your journal as a comment to the original prompt. You can definitely post them to the comm itself, (it’s very much encouraged, really) but please do the other as well, so that the prompter will know you've filled it and so that the mods can add it to the meme masterlist for all to see. ;) Prompts can be filled multiple times; the more the merrier! There are no deadlines or other rules.

You can use the .lonely prompts challenge tag when posting to the comm.

OH. And none of the following prompts are from the current summer meme, because I figured they weren't quuuite lonely enough yet. But there are some absolutely brilliant summery prompts over there just waiting to be snatched up! Fyi! ;DDD

DEAN:
So, let me guess. Drunk tank to psych eval to 72-hour forced hold to a nice long stay at an institution of their choice.

Right, Dean. Friends. I want to see a scenario based off of that first line! Dean as the person of interest, obviously. Stanford!era or maybe even a missing case during one of the seasons??

Future!fic. Sam and Dean have retired from hunting, but they now run a camp/half-way house for young hunters. Think the Roadhouse meets... Fame? Meets Degrassi? Meets Buffy S7? IDK... Anyways. Along with helping Sam figure out how to run the place and deal with some pretty damaged kids, Dean's dealing with his own damages, physical and psychological (use your imagination). Of course Sam is sure that teaching a bunch of newbie hunters about Shtrigas and Wendigos is the cure for what ails him.

Dean's fever dreams/wacky hallucinations start materializing. All over the place. But they aren't cute funny things like a giant talking banana or sentient pile of socks--they're horrible sharp-toothed, razor clawed things, lurking in the bathroom, hiding under the beds, waiting just outside and listening in. Is there something behind the shower curtain, Sam? Better check! And of course Sam's not scared of these things, 'cuz he's a big bad tough hunter...except none of these shadows hanging off the ceiling or slithering into the cracks in the wall when he turns on the lights are real, so there's no way to kill them that he's figured out. (He eventually finds out what's causing them to pop into reality and puts a stop to it, but not right away.)

The Impala runs out of gas/breaks down/gets accosted by gremlins in the middle of nowhere and the boys have to walk to somewhere. Extreme temperatures (hot or cold, doesn't matter to me) and a feverish, loopy Dean make for complications. Is the only way to move this hike along for Sam to throw Dean over his shoulder and carry him? I think it is. :D

I remember that Impala runs out of gas one from when it was posted. I can't believe no one's filled it yet. I mean carried Dean? Come on!

I might take a crack at the fever dreams one if I can think of a way to do it differently from the one I already wrote. :D I really love that concept.

I've seen another one I want. I can see myself adding this to my Chronicles of Hurt Dean Winchester. Hurt COmfort stories of Dean goodness. I've yet to post them here actually.
