Title: Can I Be Saved? (Without Having Shame)
Author: downjune
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Gen – Sam, Dean, John (Dean/omc, Sam/omc, reference to Dean/Cassie Robinson)
Rating: light R for sex
Prompt: Sam and Dean are both bisexual, but grow up with completely different experiences of and responses to their sexuality.
Warnings: mild physical and emotional abuse (if there is such a thing) and Dean's ever-present internalized guilt
Word Count: 5100
Disclaimer: not mine, even a little bit.
Summary: It's not the end of the world, but when your world has a population of three, it sure as hell feels like it.
Notes: Set pre-series, when the kids are in high school, through Stanford-era with alternating POVs. I'm very interested in the Winchester code of right and wrong, especially when the kids are younger--how John figures into it, and what they have to decide for themselves. I like organic kid-developed codes of conduct and I think Sam and Dean definitely had one for themselves.

Also, very much inspired by "I Believe" by Owen. The title and quoted lyrics come from this tune. I highly recommend opening it in another tab and listening while you read (if I may be so pushy)!
