I like to know such things myself, so I just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update/let you know what’s upcoming here at the comm. Our next challenge will be in January, but first, we’ll be having a Winter/Holiday-themed comment-fic meme at the beginning of December. So put on your prompting hats. Hypothermic snuggles! De-aged!Dean and Santa!Sam! (I’m totally blaming that last bit of schmooptasticness on jaimeykay.) Etc., etc.

We won’t be having a Wish List Party this holiday season like we did last year, because we figured it was best to just pick one thing so as not to ~overwhelm the h/c market, aw, but we’re thinking of having one some other time. It’ll be like Christmas in April. (Or whenever.)

wouldn't it be the saddest prompt ever to set it in s3, Dean's last Christmas? And in 1983, bb Dean was very much looking forward to seeing Santa, but after the fire, Daddy never took him to see Santa ever again, so when he's mentally and physically de-aged all he can remember is wanting to see Santa, and he's mute so Sam realizes this when Dean keeps looking longingly at Christmas commercials with Santa and staring at men with long white beards AND THAT'S WHY SAM DOES IT and Sam thinks about how he already lost Christmas with his Dean and that makes it even WORSE but he manages to get through it and then he fucking loses it after bb Dean falls asleep?

OMG D: THAT IS INDEED THE SADDEST PROMPT EVER. SAM ALREADY LOST CHRISTMAS WITH HIS DEAN. I saw a summary for a fic the other day, something about Dean celebrating his last birthday, and I felt like I was punched in the stomach. Fic during that year guts me, and omg it would be so much more gut wrenching as bb Dean ;_;

I bow down to your brain, though, for coming up with these things. If I were to write it, it would be five thousand words of Dean looking for a candy cane. (spoiler: he finds it and eats it.)
