Remix of sinnerforhire‘s Out of the Blue  which you should really, really read! This was written for the hoodie_time Dean Focused H/C Remix Challenge. There's, uh, a lot of swearing in the beginning. For me, that’s saying something.
Author’s note: So, I started this story with the nifty idea of using Castiel’s perspective and then, before I knew it, it somehow got to be very much about Sam and since this fic is a remix of a very precise and brutal Dean h/c story, that wasn’t going to do at all. I attempted to stitch my ideas together, but after I started in on Dean’s aneurysm and the, uh, direction that I took it, the two didn’t work as one story, but separate companions.
