Summary: A very angsty alternate take on 6.01, "Exile on Main Street." Written mostly because in my own extremely twisted way I wanted to fix the whole soullessness thing that's been going on this season, and also because I have a Spanish term paper I should be writing instead. ;) This is also somewhat of a continuation of my 5.22 coda, "Thunderstruck."

It was the silence after the crescendo that was the loudest part of a concert. That sudden absence, that quick gasp of respiration that you tried not to choke on but usually failed.
