Summary: AU set vaguely after S7. Sam was high enough that everything felt a little bit slow-motion, like he was watching himself from a distance: here he was, almost in his thirties, and he was living the life of an eighteen year-old frat boy. Pizza, weed, a stupid job, television… so mundane it was unreal, sometimes. Like this was just a long dream, and any moment now he’d return to the life that had led up to it.
A/N: This is kinda old-school h/c. Nothing new or exciting about it. It was inspired heavily by these magically delicious drawings by annartism (GO SEE, GO SEE), which were in turn inspired by this prompt from hoodie_time's now long-past curtain-fic challenge.
