Reccer's notes: I never knew I needed an episode coda like this to 4x22 until I came across this fic. I found it incredibly satisfying and beautifully done to boot.

Author's notes/summary: Written for the prompt - Dean has hay fever. And on top of the hay fever, he's got two broken thumbs (or sprained wrists or whatever hand-area-injury you want to go with). So he's constantly sneezing, but he's having the hardest time wrangling all the tissues. Not to mention everything else you do with your hands - he can't wipe his ass, he can barely lift a spoon to feed himself. He's sore, and he's cranky, and he's embarrassed, and he doesn't feel well... Set in season 4 .8000-some words. Dean, Sam, gen.
Reccer's notes: This fic has one of the most believable scenes of Dean breaking down completely that I've ever read. Dean is such an in-control crier onscreen that's it's hard to imagine anything else from him unless you're reading a fic by someone likehansons_angel. It also deals with Dean's post-hell issues, which is one of my bulletproof kinks. I loved this immeasurably.

Reccer's notes: Oh, the gen cuddle!fic. So rare, and so precious. ;D Honestly, though, this is fantastic. It could have ended up being pure crack with a less talented author, but instead is filled with genuine emotional moments. (Uh, not that I don't love crack!fic on it's own merits, because I so do.)

Never Cry Submission byratherastory [fic challenge response]
Author's notes/summary: Written for the prompt - Concussed Dean (with a twist!) A rare (but not unprecedented) side effect of a concussion can be uncontrollable, unmotivated sobbing. I want concussed!Dean fixated on something and sobbing like someone ran over his puppy. Sam has to try to decipher what has him so delusionally upset and wars with whether to take him to the hospital or not. 5,874 words. Gen.
Reccer's notes: Maybe I'm biased, since I betaed this, but omg, so awesome! My beta was basically just a lot of exclamation points, haha. But in all seriousness, I think this was a really, really hard prompt to write while keeping the boys in character andratherastory just nailed it. She's currently writing one of my personal prompts (also for the fic challenge) that I'm a million shades of excited about.
