A/N 1: This story is from Sam's POV. I don't really know where I came up with this, it just sorta fell onto the page. Since it is from Sam's POV, you get a lot of how Sam is feeling about what is going on, but it definitely has that angsty bit of Dean that we love. I guess you'll just have to read and see.

A/N 2: This takes place a few weeks after 4.16, but doesn't mention anything from 4.17 or later.
