Author’s notes/summary: Sam and Dean are sick, and Castiel is either the worst or the best nurse ever. For a prompt: “Sam and Dean get sniffly, whiny, head-achey colds at the same time. Cas rolls his eyes, but brings soup, because he's an awesome friend." General season 5 spoilers. PG-13, Dean/Castiel.

Reccer's notes: This is kind of the cutest thing ever. I love this kind of h/c, where nothing too serious is going on and someone just wants their angel of the Lord to pick them up some soup already, damn it!

Reccer's notes: Right off the bat, I love the first line to this because I think it’s probably so true to Dean’s character:

Dean's the kind of guy who will bitch for hours about a paper cut or a hangover, but attempt to hide any real illness or injury.

Oh, Dean! Sigh. Anyway, this is totally a sweet little fic full of gen cuddling and bed-sharing and all that wonderful stuff! ♥

Reccer's notes: I really appreciate a good futurefic like this one, where Sam and Dean have come to a better understanding of each other and grown as characters in a believable way. But this is even more than that, because it’s also got a fantastic plot going for it, plus BRO SNUGGLING. Awesome.

Author’s notes/summary: Dean gets sick and Sam doesn't want to share him with anyone. Written for deancastiel’s latest fic exchange, for the prompts: “1. fever!fic and 2. Something happens to Dean and Castiel and Sam have to help him get over it. At first Cas is all professional and detached and angelic and then he gets more emotionally invested and Sam's like, "WTF? Since when did he care about my brother so much?" And Dean is badly hurt or whatever but he's still supplying the snark, but then he gets quieter and quieter...” General Season 5 spoilers. 4,225 words. PG, Dean/Castiel.

Reccer's notes: I love the way the author has both Sam and Castiel taking care of Dean in their own ways, which end up being quite complimentary to each other. And I reaaaally love the image of Dean all wrapped up in Castiel’s trench-coat! That should happen sometime.
