Find Your Kindness by
Baroqy Author’s notes/summary:
Sam knows about the law, researching, demons, weapons and saying 'no' to Lucifer. He's clueless as to how he's going to help with Dean's depression. PG-13. Sam, Dean, gen.
Reccer’s notes:
maypoles says: I was incredibly impressed with the way the author handled the subject of clinical depression; how they managed to introduce the subject into the SPN world so realistically. I like how there aren’t any easy fixes here, and it’s sad, and awful, but there’s something hopeful to be found in the end anyway, because Sam’s got Dean’s back.

Watch Me Disappear (Extended Version) by
InSecret Author's notes/summary:
Sam's drowning, a sick Dean is to the rescue. Includes hurt!Dean and hurt!Sam. And, um, a giant creature... 3,381 words. Gen.
Reccer’s notes: An anon says: I loved that this fic lets us see the aftermath of a hunt like this, which we rarely get to see onscreen. I also loved the boys being protective of each other, and the sick!Dean, of course!

Crows in the Wheatfield by
ontara [WIP]Author’s notes/summary:
After a hunt gone wrong Dean wakes up in the middle of nowhere with no memory of what happened and in a world of trouble. With Sam at Stanford, Dean has to rely on his father to find him in time. 46,217 words (so far.) PG-13. Dean, John, gen.
Reccer’s notes:
elmaya says: It is Stanford era Hurt!Dean and guilty!John, with a slow, suspenseful build-up and the author manages to describe emotional pain and physical pain quite well. John's characterization is also very believable, you can see that he is trying very hard to do what is best for his sons - even though he can be misguided. WIP, but updated at least once a week.
