Spoilers: All episodes fair game, but mostly for season 3 and the eps Mystery Spot, and No Rest for the Wicked. Also for the season 2 episode, Playthings.

Summary: Written for the Dean-focused hurt/comfort fic challenge at hoodie_time. Prompt by doylescordy. Dean rescues a little old lady's cat from a tree and ends up falling and hurting himself (nothing life-threatening). Dean has to endure teasing from Sam, but at least he gets rewarded with the grateful old lady's delicious home cooked food (including pie!). Takes place between Mystery Spot and No Rest for the Wicked.

Note: All the elements of the prompt are there, but they might not quite be in prompt order. Also, there isn't quite so much teasing (there's some). There is angst, schmoop, and humor! Oh, and h/c, of course. Hope this fits the bill well enough.
