I missed this call for recs, but there's a story I ADORE that's perfect for the theme. Sight Unseen by pheebs1. It's part of her series of stories involving Petra, a blind woman Dean and Sam knew when they were younger and then run into later on. There's some good h/c through the series, but Sight Unseen especially has lovely sick!Dean.
